Laying mangled in the corner of what was once living-room, a boy by the name of Tristan Wilkins raises himself to his feet and wonders, "What the hell happened to me?" Exiting his house he sees that his neighbors are stumbling over themselves like a bunch of drunken idiots. Upon closer inspection, his neighbors are missing a few body parts; they should be dead. Looking at his own body, his blood varnishing the skin around a massive bite wound, he realizes that he should be dead aswell. He covers himself in the only clothing he can find and sets out to find survivors. After rescuing a band of three, he realizes why he was different from other infected. His job was to help save as many survivors as he can find.
