Back Story -
After fighting the Covenant as an UNSC Marine, in the Andoze Region based in Fire Base Charlie, Nathaniel knew the higher up the echelon he moved, the harder he could hit the Covenant. Given this knowledge, He applied to become an ODST. He had difficulties in training, primarily being a minor heart issue, but as the rest of Titan has always, Adapted and overcame. His first mission was a drop assignment in the city of Concord III, Following under Squad Leader, GySgt. Raymond, G. Just before boarding the Pods, Nathaniel noticed Gunny stuffing an red and gold ODST BN Flag Under his chest plate, but decided not to ask.

Spirit team dropeed with 8 ODST's, but only 7 survied the initial drop, losing Pvt. Richards and the first casualty. 30 minutes after the drop, Spirit linked up with a pinned down tank Plt trapped in an open section of the city. Doing their best to neutralize hostile AT Fire, Cpl Nathaniel, and Pfc Evans were tasked with taking position in high ground, and firing down on the roofs that the Fuel Rod fire was coming from. During this movement, Sgt Derrek took a shot to the Knee and had to be Medevac'ed, and Pvt Jackson took a fuel rod round to his right side, Ultimately killing him in action. After the initial fight was over, The team set up camp with the remaining tank Plt for the night. Half the night passed, and nobody slept. Knowing what soon came, we wanted what little seconds we had left.

The call came from command, Spirit was supposed to move North to secure the police station. Personally knowing what was ahead from " Classified : reports, He seemed unsure. Spirit team began picking up they're gear when Gunny, And SSgt Donavin came over and told me, Lewis and Evans that we would be going back with the tank BN and Sgt Derrek. We questioned and tried to fight, but the time came to move, and this was sentimental to them. Before leaving, Gunny called me over and gave me the flag he had tucked under his chest plate firmly saying as if it were his last words " If you fucking fall, I'll kill you again. " He walked off and called SSgt to rally up, than began running to the objective. Standing in pure confusion, All I could do is watch. I followed his foot steps, and tucked the flag under my chest plate, Never going out without it. He, and SSgt were later pronounced KIA after the Police station had been over ran, but later taken back by the 3rd Marines.
