Withered Knights are one of the main enemies players will face in the upcoming role-play server: The Mists of Travoria!
During the Second Age, a creature was created, a monster of such power that the world of Travoria was nearly crushed under its relentless onslaught. They called this creature the Wither. The Wither created an army known as the Cult of Ashes, an order that had one goal: To corrupt Travoria into a realm of darkness. But with the help of the Valkyrie, the people of Travoria managed to destroy the monster and scatter his followers.
Now, nearly ten thousand years later, the Cult has returned. The Wither is yet to be summoned, but its servants are still powerful. They use a corruption power known as the Decay to corrupt Travoria. The Decay takes the form of a dark, chaotic mist. When a person is exposed to the Decay, they become infected and get turned into a Withered. Some of the strongest of these Withered become known as Withered Knights, beware their mighty power.
