Some advice, shade the pants less and try to connect the top leg with the pants, 
also shade the hat a bit, with about 3-4 colors. My last piece of advice is probably to darken the shirt about 10-20 ticks/scale.

Hmmm.... well, I can say that you improved. This is some pretty good work, and I'll tell you what you did right first:
- Good job on the overall shading, and making sure you didn't just put the next color layer next to the last.
- You sculpted the elbows nicely with that little divet

Decent, but here's what you could've done:

- Don't make the entire skin different shades of one color. For instance, everything in here is brown.
- You mixed up the colors in the top of the shirt; it looks like you went from a white neck to a brown head.
- Go with a less saturated yellow, meaning it pops out far too much
- Make sure all the textures meet on the edges; the hands look awkward, and the bottom of the feet completely changes colors.
