It was a summer afternoon when astronaut, Daniel Mesh, was about to board the "Explanation V", a recently built aircraft he was assigned to ride on for a special mission. And this mission wasn't just any old trip to the moon or a neighboring planet, it was to explore the recently discovered galaxy, "Mugh". There were 2 other astronauts that were going to take the trip with him, so when everything was ready and in place, they boarded the Explanation V and took off. Now, about 20 minutes into the flight, problems had already started occurring. They had taken the wrong supply crates and realized that they had a large chance of running out of supplies before the mission ended. So in order to save supplies, they ate 1 meal a day and rarely drank water. And this was just the beginning of their problems. So a few days into the mission, they were about 3/4 of the way there when they found a barrel just drifting slowly across the abyss. They questioned what could of been inside of the barrel, and thought it might of been something that would provide information about space, so they didn't want to just leave the barrel there, so they took it. There was a air-tight room in the back of the aircraft that was used in case they wanted to open something that could possibly have poisonous gases inside of it. So they wheeled the barrel toward the room and before they went in to drop off the barrel, they were wondering if the barrel would fit through the door. It was a large risk, but they decided to give it a shot. So they took it through the door and it seemed as if it fit perfectly, but little did they know that is scratched the side of the door, making a small crack in the glass. So they dropped it off, closed the door, and were about to open it, but the 2 other astronauts located a slowly incoming asteroid and went to the front of the aircraft to steer it away from the asteroid. While they were gone, they gave Daniel permission to open the barrel, so he did. And after he opened it, green acid and gases flowed out of the barrel. He was amazed and shocked at the barrel and was glad they went the safe route with the air-tight room, but he didn't know that their was a crack in the glass. When he was just about to put on a air-tight, and dispose of the barrel and waste, the gas seeped through through the crack and knocked him out cold. He woke up later feeling strange. He slowly raised from the ground and suddenly let out a loud scream. He looked like a freak! The liquid must have seeped out while he was out, and infected his whole body! He called for the astronauts and they immediately started running tests on him. They found out that the liquid was toxic and that there was no saving him! They didn't tell him this of course. They knew it was not safe to have him on the aircraft, so they thought of a plan to get rid of him. They kept him in the back of the ship until the arrived in Mugh. They choose a random planet to land on and asked Daniel to go out and get samples. He wondered why they choose him, but he did it anyway. When he was a few yards away from the aircraft, the other astronauts had quickly started it up and left. Daniel was shocked and very angry, but he knew there was nothing he could do. So he made the best out of it and explored the planet looking for shelter, food, and a way of life. And that, is the story of Toxx.
