~ The cloaked man descended, with his trusty fang-bearing ally at his
side. Under order of the bodacious King, they lurked deeper down the
twirling stairs, eventually surrounded by utter darkness. "He
said for us to venture here, correct?" Sam whispered, "Because
from the looks of it, this place is empty." Nathan revealed a
wooden club, setting light to it with a rock he had acquired from the
cave they were in. The torch illuminated the space around them.
Things crept in the shadows, waiting for the right moment to attack.
Sam unsheathed his sword, Nathan his bow and arrows.

The goblins pounced as the men prepared for a slaughter. Sam swung
swiftly and accurately as the green beings leapt towards them, wiping
out anything that came their way. Nathan's skill with the quiver may
have been great, but was no match for the speed of the little demons.
He slid towards a wall, bouncing off of the surface and rising to a
lantern that hung above. Releasing his arrows as quickly as he
could, the evil was soon destroyed, and the loot was collected for
their glorious king. ~ EXPEDITION
