Forget about humans searching for aliens, what about aliens searching for humans?

Vestille is a former human astronaut, who crashed into an unknown planet, straight into nuclear waste. She wakes up in a hospital bed in a different society with a major case of amnesia, making her forget her true identity. After a few years on the planet, Vestille asks for permission to go on a solo discovery mission to search for humans. Only the professor granted her permission, due to humans being a total science fiction being in the planet. Vestille will prove that humans exist, remembering the sight of a more ancient spaceship she could have sworn was a human one. She keeps wondering; will the humans accept her once she reaches her home planet?

She wears a gas mask because it is rumoured that the human planet will have oxygen, which the aliens cannot breathe in. After crashing into another planet on another expedition, there's a clean cut to the bone on her left arm, along with some blood splattered on her suit.

I know, this is something totally off of my style, but I wanted to try something different
