I used to play as a wizard on an MMO, I got to level 70 :3 but I wasn't that great, made lots of good friends though that I still keep in touch with.

MMO is massive multiplayer online, so like a massive multiplayer world I guess :) World of Warcraft is an example. This was an anime style MMO (it still exists) made by Aeria called Grand Fantasia. It's a really fun game, but very pvp based and it's quite diffiuclt to start up.

From my experience I'd say it relies on a guild system, where new players must rely on older players to help them out a little, that is if you want to play for free. Some players make purchases with real money in order to strengthen their character, but it can be done without!

There were some seriously good times on that game xD It didn't help that I had no clue what I was doing 70% of the time xD Fairly sure I spent most of the time wandering around literally doing nothing

It was a difficult class, but it was so fun. I loved being a bird xDDDD
