The Yeti has adapted to have a matte fur coat, which enables it to blend in with its surroundings. It is designed to move slow, and can go years looking for food. It scavenges dead or dying animals, before sinking in its teeth and feasting. It hibernates throughout the six dark months, and leaves young in the cave it slept in, as it is a hermaphrodite. They lead a solitary life, wandering alone through the arctic tundra. Despite its muscular appearance, it is in fact pacifist, and it is the brown Yeti that is responsible for attacks on human beings. If it meets a brown or fellow white Yeti, they contest for dominance with their roars, occasionally causing avalanches in the Arctic mountains. The winner of this contest is then left alone to use the area it won as a scavenging area.
