Well... the Yuki Onna (Snow Woman) is a yokai (Demon) from japanese folklore...
Her personality is... well she appears to travelers during snowstorms and freezes them to death.
Other legends say that she warns children to go outside alone at night... and if they do it anyway, they just get killed... yep... very... nice...?
