Don't use the noise tool, when shading your skins, it's a lazy way to shade.
Instead, make a color palette. You do that by making two shades lighter and darker of the original color, and use it to shade the skin. It's what I do. :) You might want to make pixels of the colors in the unused part of the skin. :P The Lighter shades are at the top parts, while the darker shades are at the bottom parts.
I just wanted to let you know, since you have amazing creativity, and amazing skinning skill!
