No, the textures themselves weren't bad, you're right. What was bad was the fact that Nintendo decided to reduce the amount of RAM in the system to make room (in their budget) for low level mip-mapping. Because of the smaller amount of RAM, the textures in it's games looked stretched or blurred. Few were as crisp in-game as they were in their actual image files.

Ye , that I didnt know even though I am a nintendo fan. But yes nintendo always tries to save to much money like there gonna shut down the wii servers

The Wii server shut down will only affect games interacting with each other (ex: playing SSB online). This means that you can still purchase and download any Wii Store games or apps. Also, internet services like Netflix (which Nintendo doesn't provide) will remain active.
I think I saw something about a solution to the problem of Nintendo shutting off some of the internet services for the Wii somewhere but I'm not sure.
