Hey, you!

Do you suffer from constant bad frame rate?
Do you like retro style textures?

If so, this is the pack for you!

8-Pix Heroes is basically my attempt at a low resolution 8x texture pack that still retains as much, if not more detail than the default textures. I also noticed that a lot of 8x texture packs out there use colour schemes that are very similar to default, so I'm trying to stray from that more than anything. The final reason for this pack being here today is that I wanted to challenge myself. Typically being a 16x texturer, I wanted something new, something else to do that wasn't the same old methods. Naturally, 8x came into my mind.

Now, that's more or less all I have to say about this pack, so let's get onto the meat of this pack!

I have an old laptop with really bad specs .
I download simplistic texturepacks , but they look really bad .
This is the first texturepack that boosts my FPS and also makes my minecraft look good .
If you keep up the good work , you will MAYBE be the first that reaches level 200 on pmc .

I love this texture pack! The only thing i would change is probably the glass texture as it is kind of hard to see through currently.

Yeah, that's one of the problems with 8x. The pixels are twice as big as they should be, which obscures twice as much of your vision through glass than it normally would. I'll change it though =)

Nice look. I made an 8x (Bubbly Blocks, come check it out if you like!) and I really like it, but I don't think I did as good a job as you did with shading. I'll come take a look at it when it's done!
