[9x] NineCubed Minecraft Texture Pack

1.10 update
A 9x9x9 resource pack. (Yes, it's possible)
Inspired by PrimeCraft.


This pack features 9^3-sized 3D block models. (hence NineCubed)
I decided to use 9x9 because it's near 8x8, I could have a central pixel, and it's divisible by 3. And so I can reference the sierpinski carpet/menger sponge on some textures :P
Since it's low-res I tried to make the game look more "blocky" through the use of 3D models.
Because of the odd resolution you may experience rendering issues or blurriness. Disabling mipmaps should fix this.

I will work on finishing all the plant models and items, as some plants are just resized default (Fern, double flower, sapling specifically).

Tools used:
Textures: GIMP
3D models (from first release): opl's model creator
Raw model editing/Newer models: Notepad++

Updated to 1.10

- dumb ~year-ago me thought all-out shader screenies was the way to go. Fixed; no more shaders

- converted messed-up models

- new models

- redesigned lots of textures

- new logo (sponge > flower)

- anything else I changed that I can't remember, this was an overhaul...so yeah

Looks good! For a suggestion though I would have some normal images without your shaders enabled. Shaders adds more to the pack and makes it look better than it might really be and in some situations it makes some textures look worse

umm, very good.
just one thing, when you use it the item pictures in your invintory on some of the blocks are blurry

If you're using optifine, this happens when you have mipmaps enabled.

But if that's not the case, mind showing me a screenshot of the blur? Thanks

sure, mipmaps are disabled but i am still getting a blury effect.. i will send a screen shot of it in my invintory.
