This is mainly a mini project for 32-bit operating systems. I will expand beyond texture packs soon, but for now I want to optimise the RAM, FPS and Visuals of this great game. I am using 12x on most ground textures. It's an odd resolution that doesn't exactly go hand in hand with the coding, meaning the y-axis is a little different from the x-axis which poses a problem for 12x weapons and angled textures. The best way around this is use a variety of resolutions, from 8x, 12x to 16x.

! McPatcher is recommended for better experience.

TIP:
(win7 32-bit)

Right click the taskbar and select task manager. (alternatively press ctrl+atl+del)
Find javaw.exe
Right click it and set the priority to Above normal or High.
This should put most of the CPU attention on Minecraft.

Liking your honesty :) I would appreciate as much feedback as possible. I want to really optimize it for the likes of 1.6-8ghz single core systems. Will update regularly.
