In the alpha versions cobblestone had a different texture AND pattern, this texture pack keeps the 1.7+ texture, but changes the pattern to be the same as earlier versions

Uhhh, actually. That's pre 1.7 cobble, the one seen in the image is that tho, i said it for simplicities sake because the cobble texture was subtly changed a lot between tons of versions (but the pattern stayed the same)
