A lot of people don't like the glowstone texture, even after the 1.14 overhaul. The contrast is weird. Dark colors clash with the light ones. It shouldn't have darker colors, it's GLOW stone. It's supposed to be bright.
I didn't want to change just the colors though. The bulbous texture seemed kinda out of place, I always felt glowstone was supposed to be sharp. So looking to other crystal blocks for inspiration, I decided to paint the amythest block all yellowish, with a brighter tone. No more eye-strain! I think. I can't really tell.
This pack is a submittion to the One-Texture Vanilla Jam. So this pack changes ONLY the glowstone block texture. Glowstone dust, respawn anchors and anything I'm forgetting are not affected.
Scored 7th place, out of 21 others. Not bad!
