This pack changes the elytra's model to something a lot of players want in a future update. When wearing an elytra and any kind of leggings, the chestplate gets added to the elytra.

Can be used in combination with any resource pack that changes armor or the elytra!

how it works


Wear the Elytra. If you wear any leggings, a chestplate made of the same material will automatically appear on you. This doesn't add any armor slots or protection like an actual chestplate would, it's just for cosmetics.

Known issues


The leather chestplate is indeed a bit bugged as it doesn't apply color but I will check it out in the future to see if I can fix it.

Will there ever be a Java version?. If not then are you able to point me in the direction to find something for Java that works identical to this or as close as it can to replicate this either without optifine or if needing optifine then maybe having compatibility with cem mods...

If you cant do any of those then its okay, just thought I would ask..

This looks so cool and in a server me and the discord server I am in have a datapack installed where we have chestplate elytra's but the texture doesnt show so I am hoping I can find something that can semi replace it through the clients end..

When i used custom model elytra, the chestplate will disappear. Probably the resource pack is not compatible with custom model elytra?

Nope, not for now at least. I'll see if I can change that in the next version, but for now it's only textures.
