The installation of the texture pack is very simple:

-unzip the file

-choose one of the 4 texture packs with your favorite axolotl color and transfer it to your texture packs folder

Nice pack! I had this idea right as it came out this morning haha. I think optifine allows you to assign each texture so the bucket shows the correct color of Axolotl inside it.

also, Axolotl buckets don't currently save the color data.

actually they do, if you pick up a axolotl and put it back down, it transfers the axolotl type you grabbed and places it
