This pack changes the textures for: raw iron, raw copper, raw gold, raw iron block, raw gold block, and raw copper block.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE: I am NOT trying to mimic a specific style, such as programmer or jappa. I am just doing whatever comes to mind.

Please note: when i say "better" its my opinion, meaning you dont have to like it. i personally think it could use some improvements, which I will be making over the next few weeks.

I did it! after 3 full months(probably more) I finally decided to do what I wanted to do since 1.17 came out. I think I ironed out the problems with the iron texture... see what i did there? i actually didnt change anything with the iron. I changed the copper, made it less oxidized, and no dark blue, instead just the lighter colors and lots of pink/orange coloring. update #2 coming soon with a new optional version of gold. that reminds me. if you go into Restart Life's Better Raw Ores\assets\minecraft\textures\block, you will see multiple folders. those are for the older iterations of the blocks, if you preffer a certain type over the other.

It looks more in-line with programmer art and doesn't fit with JAPPA's style IMO.

did i ever said i was trying to fit with jappa's style? im not trying to "fit" a style. im just doing whatever i want to.

my purpose is to update textures that were left out on 1.14, like dirt, blaze rods, and fixing inconsistencies, like turtle eggs being the same shape as diamonds, recipe button still using the old knowledge book texture.

My criticism:

I like the iron and gold the way it is, and the copper would look better if it was smoother and had a pattern to it, you know, less abstract.

But yeah I gotta agree with you this could be a tad better, but it still looks better than the original textures.
