    I tried to edit the splashes.txt when you use a texturepack but It didn't work. (I used MCPatcher) Do you need modloader to make it work?

    Technically, the splashes are textures, but this doesn't change the textures of blocks, items or mobs so yes and no.

    I posted a splash change on the mods section, but I was told by a mod that it's a texture, so just leave it here.
