Hey.
This is an improvement of the default texture pack. I started this in 2012 because there are a few textures I don't like in the default pack. And then I decided to edit everything: mobs, GUI, rain and snow, particles, testificates, block models, random textures...
I'm just trying to add more fun in the default pack.

Now this pack supports Optifine. Some blocks and mobs will have random textures (the zombie has 7 skins).

Because PMC doesn't let me upload files, I've set up a link to Dropbox

How to use


Download the pack, copy the full .zip file, open Minecraft, go to the resource pack menu, click "Open resource pack folder", paste the pack in this folder.

If I'll get great comments, amount of downloads or anything that rewards me (diamonds?) for my work, I'll keep trying to make a better texture pack.


Additional Notes


The diamond helmet is pretty big, you don't see the player's face. If you don't like it, and want to use the default helmet: open the .zip file, go to the armor directory, replace diamond_1.png with diamond_1 old helmet.png.

1.10 update: added nether wart block, red nether brick, magma block, polar bear, stray, husk
Added bone, wither skeleton (eyes), spectral and tipped arrows, pufferfish, tulips (bigger)
Updated bonemeal, apples, bowls/stews (bigger), skeleton (head), splash and lingering potions (bottle color), gravel and grass path (random rotation), command blocks (darker color), librarian villager (cuteness increased by 14%)
Fixed the broken loop in lava animation

the wolves are white (I think) and there is this person on YouTube named Aphmau and when her dog Thorgi died he was white so this might have been the texture pack she used >.< Im going to download it and see

Thanks, but unfortunately I don't know how to include animated skins for mobs in a resource pack in 1.6, so you won't see that crazy creeper in game for now.
