How to install Minecraft Resource Packs

I want to start off by saying this is sort of a simplistic resource pack but not really, as there is shading on the blocks.

This resource pack is based around childrens toys. The terrain is textured to look like a quilt and the mobs (when they're done) will look like stuffed animals and other toys. The main purpose of this resource pack is to take anything remotely scary in Minecraft and make it very not scary. Currently all of the blocks are done, as well as the GUI. However, there are very few items done as of yet and only a couple of mob and some of the sound effects. When the resource pack is finished it will have full texture support as well as changing most of the sounds in-game.

What's New:
Added beetroot item texture
Added egg item texture
Added gold ingot item texture
Added iron ingot texture
Added snowball item texture

NOTE: For some computers, and I can't figure out why this is, the zombie texture will not appear in game unless you extract the resource pack from the zippered folder. Again, not sure why this is and I am trying to fix it.

I think it looks good, the only thing i dont like is how lava is pink, i think if you made the netherrack and stuff fit in it would look great :)

The lava is pink because it's supposed to be bubble bath. I may even re texture the nether to look like a bathtub.

This is a simple texture indeed. I do think it works well tho. The shading is well done, and the out line on the blocks adds to the theam. I can see were you were coming from macking this, and I give it a. (Three and a half).

What I mean by it being sort of simplistic is that it's not all flat colored noise-less textures.
