how does renaming items work for this? this would be simpler if there was a list of the renamed items to be able to copy and paste

First, we see the item name, for example:

Then, all renaming works using this format:
Suit + Rank

You need to download the CIT resewn or OptiFine mod for the resource pack to work. Then, in the game, you need to take the item shown in the description. For cards, it is paper, and for chips, it is Iron Nugget. Rename the item on the anvil, for example: rename the paper to Hearts Ace, and it will appear as shown in the pictures in the description.
