Consistent Deepslate Ores
This pack gives a new texture to the top and bottom of deepslate ores, using the deepslate_top.png texture instead of the standard deepslate.png the Vanilla textures use. This is the same technique I made for use in my Enhanced Ores pack, but with Vanilla 1.17 textures.
This makes all the deepslate ores blend in better with the deepslate floor since there won't be a jarring side texture in amongst the smoother top textures.
NOTE: Unfortunately, since the block models are hard-coded, I can't make the ores orientable the way deepslate is. This means that if you have a wall of deepslate orientated in the x or z axes, rather than the y-axis the way it generates, you will have the same texture issue as vanilla but vertically (See image gallery). I am unable to change this. Trust me. I tried. Fortunately, this is quite a niche edge case, and this pack will do what it's supposed to do with naturally generated terrain.
