Why soul campfire wood is oak? It came from Nether, so why are they made out of oak (crimson is better)? We never know, but this texture pack changes the wood in the soul campfire to be crimson instead of oak!

I think the reason they made it oak is because the nether logs aren't flammable. That said, Soul Sand and Soul Soil both burn forever, so having them be nether logs still makes at least as much sense as how the regular campfire burns forever until extinguished when none of the components do.
