This is my first texture pack
(Except for that one banner)
But this ones actually a texture pack.

I made this as a test but I changed it and I'm quite proud of it even though it's pretty bad.

This texture pack changes the look of the emerald to make it look like it's actually a currency by making it more round, or in this case, square. And giving it a creeper face in the center because the creeper, if I'm not mistaken, is the unofficial mascot of Minecraft.
Also, could you give me some advice on texturing? I'm kind of new at this. I might later update this by maybe changing the name or improving the textures (the textures could DEFINETLEY use some upgrades). Speaking of changing names, could anybody tell how to change item names in texture packs? I used paint.net to create the texture and I recommend using it.

You can change the names in the lang files of the pack, if you don't know where to find that go to your mc folder, open the folder in that called versions, click on the version you are using, click the .jar file and it will turn into a folder, then open that and fine assets, click minecraft, then click lang and copy the language your are using into the pack
