Custom 2D Totems!
A tamer version of the Custom Chibi Totems.
Lets you change the Totem Of Undying to a 2D version of your skin! It's easily done by changing the image in assets/minecraft/textures/item
(also unzipping the resourcepack makes it a lot easier)
You need to name it either steve.png or alex.png depending on the version of the resourcepack.
First of all, this is now officially a 1.19 resourcepack! "What does it mean?" i hear you say in your desperate confusion, that i have inflected on you all with this statement.
Well.. almost nothing!
I have heard complains from people with darker skins, that their skins look weird with black outlines, and i totally get it, so i decided to make it a bit easier to customize it, and add a guide on it on this page.
Basically in the same folder you go to drop your skin, there is also a 16x16 texture called <outline.png>.
Open it with your favorite image editor, on windows i would recommend paint.net, and if you're not going to go for a translucent/absent outline you can straight up use microsoft paint.
just take the bucket tool and recolor it to whatever you want OR take the eraser tool, and erase it completely, to get no-outline.
Also make sure you make all of the pixels the same color, as the model wasn't designed to have the texture have ununinform color.
A bit of an update-update here.
I weren't active for a while on this platform, for that i don't really have a reason, just didn't feel like it. I do have some ideas for other packs, which hopefully i will make pretty soon.
Also, i am thinking of updating this pack's aesthetic a bit. The custom chibi totems rp was a bit jank, the totems were a bit too big, and it just didn't look that good at all.
The 2d version was an improvement over it, by making them basically completely flat
(they do have a bit of depth, that's just minecraft's technical limitation, you really can't make this kinds of things with completely flat textures. They're about as flat as they can be w/ glitching out)
just to fit in as much as possible with the general look of vanilla minecraft items, which did arguably make them a bit boring.
I am now thinking of taking a sort of midway approach, to give them a bit of depth without completely overdoing it.

Basically if you're playing on 1.19 - 1.19.2 the rp won't appear red in the pack menus, that's it
and it still works just fine on all versions starting with 1.13.
