This project is no longer being maintained. I'm focusing on creating a new resource pack that uses completely original assets. Check out Fluorish for more information!

This is Default Redone. There are a lot of features in this resource pack. Too many features to list... The screenshots show very little compared to everything in the pack, so you should check it out yourself!

This resource pack uses assets from other resource packs, but also uses original assets made by myself. Most if not all assets in this pack not created by me are either from Minecraft, or edited in some way by me.

7 Update Logs

The end of Default Redone, and starting a new project. : by RyanCR 09/20/2024 3:16:50 pmSeptember 20, 2024 @ 7:16 pm UTC

It has been a while since I've been on PMC. I know I said last year that Default Redone V5 would come out soon, but I have since changed my plans.

From starting the project in mid-2016, uploading the pack to PMC in early 2022, to finally saying goodbye in 2024. (Technically stopped working on it late last year) Default Redone started as a collection of my favorite resource packs that improve upon the vanilla game, and since the texture update was out, I started adding my textures or tweaking other textures. I later started piling on other packs, and more and more of my stuff until I decided to publically release the resource pack.

Since then, however, I realized that if I wanted to make a successful resource pack, I shouldn't be using other people's assets.

That's why I'm starting a new project, Fluorish. (Yes spelled like that) The plan for Fluorish is to have the same variety of textures for things as Default Redone but with every texture being made by me. This also gives me more control over the entire art direction of the project, because I don't have the restriction of having to follow Minecraft's vanilla look.

It says Optine required. But there may be mods that will make it compatible by replicating certain Optine features.

Here's a website that may help: lambdaurora.dev/optifine_alternatives/
