Like it says above this is a back that replaces the vanilla shield in minecraft with the "DooM: The Dark Ages" inspired shield. This is my first Texturepack I've posted here or really anywhere so enjoy as I keep it up with some more video game textures and models for all!

So, i have tried this resource pack and-

i dunno why but it shows only the bugged "black and purple" texture (the model is fine), i even tried to fix it on the files, still nothing

also, LighterXFluid, i know you said you will be making a mod around this, so, wheres the mod page, or there is none at the moment?

hey! I love your design, could this be like optifine compatible? I wanted to try making a map for a streamer (Which idk when the contest will be) inspired in doom. So if I could use it for it. (Also I've tried making my own but failed miserably XD)

Go right ahead I'm making a mod of this instead so it'd be nice if you wanted to fix some stuff and use if yourself. With all the usual stuff (credits and stuff) other than that go ahead

Also. Any ideas to make it with vanilla? instead of a mod? at least I wanna get the parry and shield bash made with maybe commands. I know that would be hard af but... (also that I haven't touched minecraft in command way in my life) sooo wanna help if you get some free time? obviously I will credit you in a cool way :D

You could try datapacks to make it functional, but I think creating something like that wouldn't need commands

Dude, you have an incredible texture pack, I admire it especially because I'm a Doom fan, the only thing I couldn't try personally, because I have 1 bedrock and even with attempts to transfer it somehow well it doesn't work, maybe I'm doing something wrong, but in general what I wanted to say is, brother, keep working in the same spirit, it's just great and honestly I would like to see from you an addon for weapons and armor in the style of Doom

This is being made in to a fully useable mod that me and a buddy's working on, so far its going pretty well with the features including



- Parrying

- Blocking

- Throwing

- Dash Enchantment

- Melee Function (aka glorified sword weapon)
