This is my first crack at a minecraft resource pack that changes carrots into strawberries. Features strawberry items, strawberry plant blocks, strawberry on a stick, and white strawberries to replace golden carrots. It is made for 1.18, but it should work in most fairly recent versions.
The resources in this pack are going to be used for a broader strawberry themed resource pack, but I'll be uploading the separate components of the resource pack as separate packs as I make them so that people can try things out one at a time, enjoy the details, and let me know what they think. Keep an eye out for more of this project as time goes by ^^
To use this resource pack in Minecraft Java Edition 1.18:
1. open minecraft java edition 1.18 to the main menu where you can see the singleplayer, multiplayer, and realms options
2. select the "Options..." button
3. in the Options menu, select the "Resource Packs..." button
4. in the "Select Resource Packs" menu, select the "Open Pack Folder" button. this should automatically open the file browser on your computer to the correct folder, called "resourcepacks."
5. drag the "strawberry pack 1.18 v0.1.zip" file into the "resourcepacks" folder
You may not redistribute this resource pack or modified versions of this resource pack. Purchasing/downloading this resource pack for use in minecraft does not give you permission to redistribute this resource pack or edited versions of this resource pack. You may edit this resource pack for personal use, as long as you attribute my art to me (endcant).

Mojang needs to add another crop and more food variation. Something a la Terraria. Stackable buffs with potions or something. Nothing too over the top but food variation would be good.
i agree about food variation and buffs, but also honestly i love having as many crops as possible, whether or not they're particularly useful. i do think any new plant life would be welcome, especially since the biodiversity in lush caves looks so lovely. it'd be nice to have new crops and other green things in the overworld that look that fancy and that look like modern minecraft, i guess. i am a more aesthetically minded person though.
with that in mind, i might like to team up with someone who does data packs to make something that lets people have carrots AND these strawberries.
