the idea of having cultist-like squidwards live in a peaceful civilization and having pigmen stuck in a dimension of fire and chaos was always so backwards to me, so i turned that around.

IF IT SAYS THAT THE VERSION IS OUTDATED, IGNORE IT, THIS VERSION WORKS PERFECTLY FOR 1.20.1

requires optifine

TRIM UPDATE
villagers and wandering merchants are now pigmen
the illagers are now various names of wildpigs
villagers now make piglin sounds
illagers now make piglin brute sounds
witches are now the og idea of zombie pigmen
zombie villagers are now zombie pigmen
piglins are now primalists [​cult squidwards]
piglins now make low pitched pillager and villager sounds
piglin brutes no make low pitched vindicator sounds
iron golems are now beefy looking hunchback golems [​protectors]
renamed alot of things
no more creepy music discs
pigstep is now different due to different civilization in production of it
fixed merchant texture

havent worked on this in years, sorry, also i dont plan on making bedrock support anytime soon due to priorities and it being too difficult to make ports for this kind of stuff

i discontinued the other one because i am currently working on this one, this one actually came from my effort and work, i remodled the villager to look like a piglin witch took months, i re-made the iron golem, i re-made all the pillager models witch took even longer, there are still bugs with the wandering trader and there is still ways i can improve this, compared to the pigmen who i just stole and put retextures on, that took me a month as for this one took a year, i hope you can see why i prioritize this version alot more, thanks for your feedback tho.

Very interesting concept, well-executed. I think the hunchback golem could do with some more detail.



The Wrongins look fun, and the beast ravager, despite lacking a clear connection to the piglins, is a refreshing difference nonetheless.



I think something interesting could be done with the Hoglins and Zoglins here, maybe as some kind of mini-ravagers, since Ravagers and Hoglins seem like a natural part of this swap. I also think the Witch could do with some changes to make it more witch-y.
