Changes plants to look fancier: leaves are bushier, crops have variation, wheat is tall, some flowers have variation,sweet berry bushes have colour variation, sugar cane has distinct tops and vines have connected texture (sugarcane and vines REQUIRE OPTIFINE to work)

generally the flora should look that little bit nice and create a more immersive atmosphere in game.

Intended future features: biome specific colours and textures for leaves and alternate weed textures for grass. As this is still in progress i would love ideas for tweaks that would fit with the pack's theme that i could include in the final version.

this should function fine in 1.17, the game will just give a notification when u activate it saying it was made for an older version.

will this still work if i have a texture pack that makes the birch trees orange?

that will depend how the orange birch trees pack is implemented, if it uses a colourmap to change it to orange then it should be compatible but if it replaces the model with an orange copy of the normal texture then the two packs will conflict
