Disclaimer:

Fragoon made the original lava texture pack. Enrique1 added bump & normal mapping, however the resource pack file on Enrique1's page isn't plug-and-play ready- meaning if you downloaded the texture pack, you wouldn't get the results in the pictures out-of-the-box.

So what does this do?

This is basically said resource pack, but in a finished and useable state. This replaces the lava textures, minus the lava bucket item. If you would like the bump & normal-mapping effect, you'll need to have a compatible shader that's capable of displaying those things, like Complementary Shaders (make sure the Parallax option is turned on in your shader settings!).

Please note that shaders will treat this texture differently. Even if multiple shaders support bump mapping, not all of them will give the same results. Complementary Shaders won't give the "bump" effect on lava (except in a cauldron), but other shaders will.

Instructions:

Slide it into your resource pack folder. That's it. No unzipping needed. If you don't see it take effect, check to see if you have any other texture packs that might be overriding this. You can also press F3 + T to reload all your resource packs.
