To be short and sweet, this is a resource pack designed to mimic the limited color palette of the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, along with other cosmetic changes, mainly replaced textures designed to give that "SEGA" vibe this pack is intended to redo.
I will try to get more from this pack in the future, such as sounds, so do stay tuned.
Note: This pack is still being worked on, but not at a quick pace.

Genesis Pack Discontinuation : by Hedge O Edge 01/02/2022 5:55:52 pmJan 2nd, 2022
Greetings, to the five or so people that follow this pack.
I'm coming here to announce that as of today, I will no longer be working on the Genesis Pack, as it is both a wasted effort on my part and a time-consuming process for me to do so.
Looking at this little project from a retrospective viewpoint, I've noticed that this in itself does not bring anything meaningful to the table compared to what even the base game provides. The original idea was to just make everything look like it was on a SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive, and I pulled the easy way out on it – literally just posterizing the textures to make it seem like it. Over time, it went to compressing the audio to “sound” like it's on the same thing. I did not realize that (a) there are a lot of sounds, and (b) it would just set this back further and further from being 100%.
If you want to go out of your way to continue this pack, go ahead; I don't care if you give credit or not.
I appreciate you all for your time, and I hope you have a good day. I'll be doing some other stuff besides this in the future.
