As the title suggests, this replaces all gold objects with silver counterparts (And yes it also changes the language files accordingly). This is just something I whipped up on a whim while polishing up a pack I was already in the process of making, which I will probably upload in the near future.

I like the colour. Was thinking "well, what did you do to iron then, because silver's already in the ga--..... oh"

I made a compatibility patch for the golden blackstone texture pack: https://www.planetminecraft.com/texture-pack/entirely-gold-blackstone/
If you play with both, you can use my pack to make them compatible: https://www.planetminecraft.com/texture-pack/gold-to-silver-entirely-gold-compatibility-patch/

Nice. However, the silver doesn't actually look like real silver. Real silver is mostly gray, (or the classic 'silver' colour), and can be slightly yellowish.

I am aware of that, however I didn't want to take that approach so that it could still be easily distinguished from iron. Using a light blue is one of the more common ways of making the distinction between silver and steel/iron. This is something that I am currently tweaking in the WIP packs I mentioned in the description.

Ah, ok. I'd suggest making it a bit lighter than iron (most mods I've seen that add silver make it lighter, nearly white, and it looks pretty good.)

Not a bad idea in theory, but the problem is that most of the iron textures, especially the tools and weapons are already completely desaturated. If I were to just increase the colour volume, all that will do is dilute the gradient, and I'd still be left with the problem that the silver would be too similar to iron.

That's the main reason why I dislike the many of the default iron palates; they're just very bland and don't pop out. In fact that's also the main reason why I'm changing iron in the aforementioned WIP packs.

Hm... darker iron would be cool ngl.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head there, as that's the main modification I'm making to iron.

Somewhat, but diamond has a much stronger turquoise hue, where as this is whiter and has a less overpowering saturation.
