I'd like to present to you my let's say add-on for the "Connected Textures" Optifine option. There are 4 windows each of a different size. The windows are especially designed for bulding gothic cathedrals, castles etc.
Installation: Simply drop the downladed file into your minecraft.jar.
Warning: For these textures to work you need Optifine to be installed on your Minecraft. You can download Optifine from HERE.
