This GUI texture pack is good for PvP and also looks simplistic. I made it for personal use so I will not be implementing any suggestions apart from fixes.
Note: This pack also works on most versions that support GUI changes including 1.8.
Note: This pack no longer works on any version aside from 1.20.2.
