Customize your look with Ninja & Samurai armor and wield mighty 24x Samurai swords and tools! You can also claim the legendary Valorite variant by joining my Patreon. This Samurai themed resource pack includes 5 sets of Samurai armor, Ninja-themed armor for leather, and thematically appropriate weapons and tools. Like my other packs here on Planet Minecraft, this pack contains only the arms & armor textures which makes it easy to pair with a builder's pack of your choosing or to simply enhance your look while building with vanilla block textures.

This pack also includes damaged item textures, so you always know when your tools are about to break. This pack does require Optifine to support some textures, specifically the Odachi sword variants. This variant sword texture is acquired by renaming your swords at an anvil. For example, renaming a Diamond Sword to include "Odachi" somewhere in the name will change the texture to the Odachi variant. Any naming conventions that do not include a variant identifier will use the standard texture.
The following variants are currently available (Optifine Required):

Netherite Sword (VIP Only): Muramasa | Norimitsu
Netherite Axe (VIP Only): Masakari
Netherite Armor (VIP Only): Valorite

FAQ
Q: Can I use this pack as a server resource pack for my server?
A: If you are running a small private server, Yes! I only ask that you not re-upload my textures elsewhere or redistribute them. Permission for public servers is granted to all active Grimdark Patrons.
Q: How do I get the variant textures?
A: Take the appropriate item to an anvil and rename it using the keyword specified above.
Q: The variant textures aren't working - how do I fix it?
A: Variant textures require you to play using Optifine with custom items enabled. Other mods/loaders *might* work, but they are not officially supported. If variants aren't working, double check your Optifine settings and disable other addons that might be causing conflicts.
Q: When is this pack / texture / feature coming to Bedrock?
A: IF it's possible, as soon as I can. Even though Bedrock and Java look similar at surface level they are VERY different. Just because something is created for one doesn't mean it is supported in the other. Similarly, some things are easy to do in Java that are extremely difficult to do in Bedrock. This means some features may never make it to Bedrock.
Q: Can you add X texture / feature?
A: Please submit all suggestions and requests via DM on Patreon.
Q: Can I redistribute the Grimdark textures in another pack/mod?
A: No.

Diamond katana doesn't render correctly in 1st person view and golden katana is held a bit further back in 3rd person view.
