This Texturepack makes all the Stone Blocks below Y=23 to Deepslate with a little transition. The same applies to ores which generate there. So simply all Stone and Ores will have Deepslate Textures when you go below Y=20.

Now there is also Deepslate! (default Download!)
For the Grimstone versions check out Github!

I updated the textures to the newer ones. The old are also available on Github. If you want the 1.16 ores with Grimstone, there soon will be a ZIP on Github!

this is amazing, another suggestion i have, can you maybe change all the diorite granite and andesite that generate down there to tuff too? that would be even better i think

I thought of doing so, but then you can´t differ between those. So I made dirt to tuff, because tuff is often in bigger veins... But as Joly de Fer said, I may will make the granite and andesite darker for a better looking down elow Y=23...

If you want to have diorite andesite and granite as tuff anyway, tell me and I´ll make it!

maybe just make diorite andesite and granite as deepslate because you dont really need to differ between them and the normal stone,that would be nice i think

I made it wiith optifine and Height specific textures, if you want to know how to do it, you can also look in the Source in this texturepack, isn´t too hard at all!

Maybe a darker variant or so? Or the same Structure as Deepslate but in the colors of Granite?

I like how you changed the coal ore to grimstone even though in vanilla coal doesn't spawn where grimstone does as of currently from what I've seen. It's so cool, though! Emeralds too!

Thank you for the feedback, good to here that it´s cool. But I do not get what you mean exactly. There is Coal in 1.16 which generates below 20. And the texture of then a Grimstone Coal ore, or is the texture like only Grimstone? If so, should I change it?

Oh yeah I forgot there is no y0 in 1.16, sorry. What I was saying is in 1.17 as of currently, there is no deepslate coal or emerald ore since they don't generate below y0 and it was cool how you added deepslate coal and emerald ore. But I forgot that coal and emerald can still generate in 1.16 below y23.
You should keep it as it is, it's very cool!

So is Deepstone the new Grimstone? And Grimstone is the Cobblestone version? (Sorry, I don´t know much about the Snapshots...)

no i just see a change like the coal is more darker and the stone is weird i think that look like a bit the 1.8 texture

So, I found out the errors... The Stone will be Fixed in the update I upload in a few Minutes, same to the Coal ore. The Problem with stone was weird, i don´t know, now the right Texture is in the pack. With the Coal ore: The old Coal ore colors arent visible on the Grimstone ore, because Grimstone is darker. So I made the texture a bit darker, but the same to the Stone Coal ore. I changed it know, that the Stone Ore texture is more light gray. Thanks for the tip!

The coal was weird, I knew that, should be better now, if not, I will look again... And the Stone: I thought also it looks anyhow a bit unnormal, but I thought i used the normal 1.16 texture, but I may havent... I update this soon!
