Just saying right now, this is going to be extremely glitchy. You didn't enable transparency or didn't use a program supporting transparency. Around the redstone is all black, so around the redstone IN GAME will be black. same with all other blocks with different shapes. (unless your transparency IS black...)

very true. Looking through other texture packs uploaded by newer members, lots have the black around transparent blocks
