How do you change a .rar file into a .zip?

A zip file is a compressed file. Unless you're talking about something else, you should be able to right click it, then go to "send to", then compressed (zipped) folder.

I'm on Windows, sorry if this is wrong... Not actually sure what a .rar is.

I think you're confused... A .rar or .zip is a compressed file which has several files in it, it wont change the file type itself.

To change a .rar file into a zip you would go extract it, and then compress it into a zip file.
