New Update! Henry's Pack v2!

A texture pack created for Lord Of The Rings mod. Can be defined as enchanced vanilla.

Featuring randomized and animated textures, redesgns of weapons and armors and a custom GUI.
Since LOTR mod v.36.10, Chill effect has been hard coded, so low chill won't work now.*






Textures


Randomized textures involve:

Noteblocks
Dalish/Chalk/Stone/Rohan/Harad Bricks
Stone
Bricks
Sand
Some flora textures (vines, mushrooms, flowers, dead bushes)
Cobblestone
Mossy Cobblestone
A lot of ores
Apple/Pear Leaves
Leaves

All Mordor textures have been tweaked to make the biome look less dark yet still desolated and evil

Weapons:

Black uruks weaponry and armory (now using more grayish colors)
Morgul Blade (animated texture for small icon, weapon now has a big texture, similar to other swords)
Mithril weaponry (all weapons have been redesigned, also new texture for helmet)
All Bows now have colored pull stages for arrows
Blowgun
etc.

Tools:

All Pickaxes
etc.




Additional Info:

Some of the blocks did get a different hue to them, I personally prefer sand textures and chalk to be more of a warm colors. Harad and sand now have the matching texture color. A lot of textures were heavily inspired by new 1.15 textures. GUI has got an overhaul with dark theme to it, if you'll detect any problems using it, please leave a comment down below. Any textures that look familiar to other texture packs are purely coincidental and products of the Author imagination.

What's next?
I am planning on adding more animated textures as well as randomised ones. Some of the flora textures still needs a bit of tweaking and random textures to be added. After that I am going to redesign NPC, giving them proper skin color and clothes. I am open for ideas and feedback, make sure to leave one so I know what I did good and what to avoid!

Level 12 : Journeyman Explorer
I noticed while looking at the files that this pack contains the vanilla textures for every Minecraft item that isn't replaced, including things from newer versions like the broken elytra. Some of the textures aren't even in the right folders, like mycelium_side.png being in the items folder. What confuses me more still is that you seem to have included new textures for items that aren't in this version, like the iron nugget. Why is this?

Hey, yeah the folders are super messy, I was just learning about texture packs and optifine so there are a lot of leftovers from experimenting 😉

Love your art style! I know this is for the LOTR mod but have you ever considered doing 1.18.x version? This and your 1.16 packs are genuinely the best environmental/nature textures I've seen!!

Thank you for kind words, I've been experementing with 1.18, but for now I don't have plans to make a renewed version. Maybe some day when the time will allow it I will come back to it!

The mod itself does not require it, but optifine boosts your performance and allows to see way more of the texture pack
