i created a folder in my texture pack thingy then i put the files in it and it wont work

you don't have to create a new folder. drop the .zip file into the texture packs folder in your minecraft folder (where the bin folder is) or drop the contents of the folder from the zip file into the folder you created?

go to gui and find the items.png file. all of it is there
