Changes for 1.16.3
-Updated pack format from version 5 (1.15 to 1.16.1) to 6 (1.16.2 and 1.16.3) so it no longer shows as incompatible.

With this small pack you will be able to turn your armor invisible without indirectly affecting other entities like zombies and skeletons, a side effect of directly turning armor textures invisible. This pack will work on all 6 sets of armor and also the turtle cap. Intended for use in non-pvp servers, letting anyone turn their armor invisible in pvp would be devastating!

How it works:

By adding the word "hidden" anywhere in your armor's name through an anvil the layer texture will be replaced with an empty one. This means that you can keep parts of your set visible if you prefer and that your beautiful dyed leather clothes won't be rendered obsolete.

The word doesn't have to be capitalized, you can surround it with symbols or even add more words. You can put it at the beginning, middle or end of the name too but you cannot space out each letter from the word hidden.

If you're summoning armor through /give you can even format the name with color, bold, italic, etc and it won't break (dunno about obfuscated).

Since all this pack does is replace textures when the item contains the aforementioned word it means it should retroactively work on any previous versions of Minecraft that uses the same texture format for armor and if Optifine's CIT module can affect said textures.
And of course it does not matter if you use the old "programmer" look of the game or Jasper's new textures (or any vanilla resource pack for that matter, other optifine packs might break it).

Apologizes in advance to those who already have an xp expensive gear, as it stands now this is the only way to make it work. I originally intended for the pack to check if a player or mob is wearing the armor but I can't and you wouldn't get the option to hide or not your armor anyways.

I've updated the pack for 1.16 to support the new netherite armor set. Apologies for never updating the pack for 1.15, I didn't play the game at all throughout that update.

thank you very much for this pack.
I plan on starting a world where you can see the players skin instead of the ugly bulky armor.
i can now see my holy crusader skin perfectly.

Invisible amour is an interesting concept for non-pvp! To overpowered in pvp. It stinks when u wanna be invisible but ur not because amour!
