As this pack is subject to optifine to work, is recommended to play on full OptiFine versions to experience everything the project has to offer.
Pre versions of Optifine might have non-implemented properties which may cause unwanted visual errors.

Challenge for you: (since you disallow to use your textures in public resoucepacks)

Rework all the item textures so that they blend like in Tinker's Construct mod (this is possible using type=enchantment and blend=replace)


Being able to see all enchantments at once would be really useful and is the only thing I miss in this RP :)

I'm playing on 1.15.2 and 3d models and animated sprites are not showing and just default Minecraft textures. Does this don't work with 1.15.2 yet?

Nope, you just have to remove all default textures from your packs files, the game will see there is no texture for say dirt, and use the dirt texture from the next pack that's on.

There are no default textures on the pack files. So now that I understand your concern, I can say: the pack already works as an overlay.

Hey, the texture on the new katanas is kinda glitchy. It's hard to describe, but it looks like 2 textures overlapping and "fighting" eachother. It's like a part of the blade is flashing. I hope you know what I mean.

That's weird...
I don't have this error, but I can see why it might be happening.
I'm going to change the sword model to make sure this kind of situations don't happen again.

How were you able to change the model of the trident? I've been trying for months to get trident models to change with optifine and even after looking at the files in your pack I still haven't been able to figure it out.

Hi, I found myself in the same situation 9 months ago, since a handheld trident is coded in a very different way from any other item.
What I ended up doing and it still is in the pack was custom item models for the tridents. You may have noticed that my tridents have extra parts attached, like the handle or the propeller. That was possible when I changed the item texture for a 3d model instead. It has the downside that you can't decide how it will look on the hotbar, but it's worth a shot.

To see the code I made you can find it on "VisualEnchantments\assets\minecraft\optifine\cit\models\td"

So I got the model to work, but blockbench doesn't seem to like loading the textures when the model is used. When I open it in blockbench the model is fine but every time it says it cant find the texture, no matter what folder I put it in. Did you have to deal with this problem when you did it? I have tried putting both the .json file and the textures in numerous different folders but nothing has worked.

Yes, apparently blockbenck has some problems dealing with directories and textures, so you gotta put them by yourself on the json.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. Honestly I think having the 3d model as the hotbar item would be better in my case anyway as the goal is to make custom named items stand out.

Optifine previews may not have everything necessary for the pack to function properly. I recommend to play on full optifine releases, where all resource pack features work as intended.
