FAQ
It doesn't work for me! Any help?
There are some reasons why this may happen:
1- You are using an uncompatible version of the resourcepack.
Make sure the pack you've downloaded is specific to the Minecraft version you're going to play with.
2- You may have not placed it in the correct folder.
You need to put the downloaded zip in your .minecraft/resourcepacks folder.
3- (pre 1.21.5) Make sure you have OptiFine installed.
In case you don't, you can download it here.
4- You have optifine but it still doesn't work.
You may have the custom Items feature deactivated, you can enable it on the menu:
options/video settings/Quality/Custom Items: ON
Do you have a compatible pack for older Minecraft versions?
Currently you can download VisualEnchantments for 1.8 up to 1.12 on the "Downloads for older versions" spoiler.
What about a 32x32 version of the pack?
It won't be done

First off - phenomenal job on the pack, I joined the Discord server earlier today to keep up with future progress as well.
As someone who's a fan of the old textures of the game (Programmer Art) - the pack does stick out a bit as it
overwrites PA tools, weapons and armor.
As long as I am not asking for too much - would you consider adding PA support to your pack ?
If not, is there a way to replace the item textures with PA equivalents, while keeping the enchant ones intact ?
Thank You in advance, and have a good day!
It's indeed possible to change all the textures to more PA-looking ones. I'd recommend making an add-on to the pack which only changes the textures, which is entirely possible.
I'm not interested in developing it, but I can give you some guidelines for you to get started!
Basically copy the textures folder from the original pack, place them in a new resourcepack (the add-on), and edit them as you see fit. The add-on should always be placed on top of the original pack in the resourcepack select menu for it to work.
If you would to go through with this, I'd encourage you to share the result here.
Cheers!
I wanna ask if you will do mod compats, i mean, theres alot, like Blue Skies, RPG Series mods, Simply Swords, and 40 other mods that are on my pending list for my 3d tools pack's mod compat updates
I mean, it's probably gonna be an undertaking, but maybe take advantage of these mods as a way for you to make this pack bigger and popular and also to keep it alive monthly, might also make some cf and modrinth pocket money along the way
Since im also gonna make my 3d tools compatible with this pack starting next year, i'm also gonna be on an undertaking as well
It'd be easy for anyone to take the textures in the pack and adapt them to fit their own style! The same goes for models, although that would require more work.
Worn armour textures have not existed since update 4.0.0 due to CIT issues
It might be reintroduced in the future as the optional CIT module if it works.
