Jacaranda Spiders & Items

Done for the Mythical Forests Jam (Jacarandas option) [​27 March – 25 May, 2024].

The inspiration for interpreting the jacranda spiders into MC was a species of evolved social spider desribed in Marooned_in_Realtime — Vernor Vinge © 1986; a distant future [​50 million years distant ❗] murder mystery set in a milieu extrapolated from the societies described in The Peace War — Vernor Vinge © 1984 [q.v. https://www.planetminecraft.com/blog/reading-recommendations/comment/10488537/#reply_10488537 for further info ]

Aside from reskinning the cave spider, the textures of the spider eye, and fermented spider eye have been changed to appear a bit less chordate.
As the spiders described in the book create display webs of shimmering red and blue, the cobweb texture has been animated in an attempt to mimic this effect. [​Also changed the texture to something more angular and regular.]
