To the wonderful users of this texture pack, thank you for more than 10 years of playing together. <3
As of March 2024, I'm deciding to put the pack to rest and move on to the next exciting chapter on life. I've had so much fun working on this project, learned a lot about pixel art, 3D modeling, colour theory, natural fibres and dying processes (which my flower choices are all based in), video editing, commission work, and much more.
Sadly, the pack isn't the source of joy for me it once was. Regular updates to Minecraft's file architecture and the feeling of needing to keep up with changes to remain relevant isn't all that fun. (For those of you who remember "The Flattening", I'm still mad. :P )
I've kept up with edits as much as I have in recent years thanks in full to the wonderful support and encouragement of you, the pack users. I'm still very proud of it as a portfolio piece, and glad to know it's brought a bit of enjoyment to so many of you. I've heard more than once that, for a few dedicated users, Minecraft and the Fantasy Pack are almost synonymous, and I can't properly express how much that's meant to me. Thanks to your support, at the golden era of update regularity, the project was sitting in the top 100 entries (out of >30,000) in Planet Minecraft's "Best of All Time" listings.
Thank you for well over a decade of punching trees, strip mining at level 11, refurbishing and protecting assaulted villages, and killing dragons with the power of sleep. May your Mending picks be forever at full durability, and your wheat/oat fields be forever golden. Y'all made this a wonderful thing. <3
(If anyone is curious about continuing the pack after my retirement, feel free to reach out.)
This is a personal project by Zack Simon (a.k.a. Jehkoba), influenced heavily by classic SNES JRPG's, tabletop roleplay, and Saturday morning cartoons. It offers an illustrated, painterly style that brings more vibrancy of colour and warmer tones than the original textures.

This is a full graphic overhaul, complete with new vanilla-ready 3D models and variable textures for a number of blocks and items including crafting tables, torches, ladders, rails, doors, grass, dirt, bricks, cobblestone, and more. Changes to block and item names have been moved to an optional plug-in pack.
Also, the Villagers are gender-balanced and multicultural, because I think that's kind of important.
Special thanks to Alice from France for her contributions to the new font set. :D
I'd also like to tip my hat to:
* lithiumsound (Greatwood, SummerFields)
* Steelfeathers (Dandelion, FeatherSong, etc.)
* andrejolicoeur (Jolicraft)
* Irish (Ventura)
* Ignaf (Quadral)
* Jicklus (Jicklus)
You folks do inspiring pixel work, and have had a serious influence on this pack. Thank you for being amazing. ♥︎

Update #89 - 1.19.3 Again : by Jehkoba 01/23/2023 6:02:03 pmJan 23rd, 2023
No real changes in the pack, but I was informed that Minecraft has changed how they process mods.
This should get folks back and playing on 1.19.3. ♥

That house was mine from an old PMC server (along with a bit of footage in the video). I don't think the world is still active, unfortunately, but I could be mistaken.
anyways i really really really adore this pack and I hope it continues updating for the future releases, but its 110% okay if you move onto different things!!!
Not that it's anyone's job to feed me flattery, but comments like these are definitely fuel on the fire to keep going - especially after maintaining it for over 10 years.
Also, the old realm was so fun. Such a wonderful Idea for a server. The dungeons were so well crafted. Wish you the best, Jehkoba!
