What has been changed you might ask? Almost EVERYTHING!
Synopsis:

• Tons of new items. pork, fish, refined ores, mob drops and more!
  
• Redesigned main textures to create a flow that allows you to use every single block, even those that we at times find useless(gravel being one)
  
• water/foilage/grass colors are smoother than a babies bottom.
  
• Much more!
  

I feel that i've completely redesigned the look and feel for the pack to flow better more than ever. See the pictures for proof!

There is still quite a bit of work left for me to do. You'll notice the stone attached to ores doesn't match stone. I'm working on it, hence the alpha.
I'm also still working on the font. It's been a long time coming, I know but it will be worth the wait. I think it will add a really awesome, new experience to minecraft.

I've also come to the conclusion that 64x seems to be a bit harder to create textures for. I might be switching the entire pack to a 32x. If I do, I will be investing in a wacom pen/touch tablet to draw out the items.

My texture pack started off as a cut and paste of a few texture packs, with Ovo's Rustic being the basis for everything. I realized that the more I edited everything, the less it was becoming just a cut and paste, personal remix texture pack.

I started to design a few things in the way I wanted them while still trying to hold true to Ovo's style. I recommend you check out his texture pack as well!

I got the lava, water, portal and particle animations from Grugsy.
Mobs are from Emperor Doom v3.0
Block animation is from Gestankfaust
I've been granted permission to use anything that has been unmodified from the amazing artists above.

Ovo's Rustic pack has been used as a huge template, and the only stuff that remains are his(terrain.png) wooden door, chests, crafting table, dispenser, oven and note blocks (items.png)weapons/tools

Emperor Doom's v4.0 Mobs are included because they are awesome

Grugsy's water, lava, Portal and particle effects are used

Gestankfaust made a bunch of open for grabs block animations, one of which I am using

A lot of the art included is all open art with free to distribute CC licence. Feel free to distribute and use at your own will, however commercial use was not granted on some of the textures so please do not try to ad-fly anything if you do decide to use it.

Changed the version scheme to match the version of minecraft. updated versions will be in the form of a subversion IE: 1.7.3-a, 1.7.3-b... etc etc.

This is a alpha version only because i wanted to put it out there before i went on vacation and i didn't get to finish everything that I wanted to.
