When I started playing minecraft back in the days of beta 1.6, I quickly decided to make my own texture pack, I just found no already existing pack that turned out as a good match...
And I continued this tradition through the days of beta and full, until the future...
As my former private pack, enjoy this perspective to minecraft!
I'd call it a survival-able modern pack, but everybody needs to find his own position in terms of resource packs...
Head to the link, skip the ad in the top-right corner, and select the version (folder) of your choice.
This pack is avaiable in five versions:
Liminal Pack
Liminal Pack pre1.6
Liminal Pack Alpha
PE Android
PE iOS
The use of MCPatcher/Optifine is highly recommended to have the best gaming performance as possible.
The features:
- all textures modified (blocks, items, gui, interfaces, etc)
- ConnectedTextures, BetterSkies, RandomMobs & CustomColors mod support
- metadata support (limited yet)
All of my projects will look best with THIS pack since I made them with it in my mind & my minecraft.
What will come?
- custom armor skins (and probably models)
- normal & specular map support (when I get a new machine)
- expanded metadata support
- extended ctm resources
- continous updates with bugfixes & minecraft version changes
- custom records, made&recorded by myself (piano tracks)
-> feel free to request tracks, I assume that I can meet most of the requests!
Credits:
- TheBoo for the Custom Record Tracks tweak
- Thaylar for the ctm examples & hints (i.e. fence, nether brick fence & multi-block ctm)
- MusaTheLegend for giving early feedback & helping the screenshots
- Jetra for beta-tests and alpha-feedback
- Luxury_Creeper, my brother, for additional feedback
- Sphax for the structure of the PocketEdition packs (and the FTL steam gift ;) )
- Scuttles for his commonly used water animations (placeholder for me)

Download information!
All of the links lead to a folder, choose the version you want (the sub-folders), inside are 3 resolutions each.
Enjoy!
I won't make a 256x256 version since my own PC can't handle these packs
(It would be kinda useless if I can't use my OWN pack)
The "~pre1.6" versions are releases for the earlier versions of minecraft, nearly completely backwards compatible to the days of Minecraft alpha.
Enjoy!

With the block models being modifiable, they introduced some sort of texture flipping & rotating in the code (which messes up the entire repeat texture idea, see Sand (3 biome-dependant versions))
I fixed that, but I need MCPatcher to work again to test the next parts... which will take a while.

And yes, I work on a "small" update (about 600 new textures) as christmas gift... (something completely new and unique to the resource pack world and some refined textures)
Have a look here :p
